2018 Emilian Single Vineyard Rosé (Yarra Valley, VICTORIA)
Super small production only 800 bottles made. Produced by Robin Querre a fourth generation winemaker from Saint Emilion, who migrated to Australia in 2015. Emilian wines was soon born after, initially making even smaller batch wines from single vineyards or single parcels. This rose is a classical dry Provance style, light and fresh, subtle notes of berries and great clean acidity.
2018 Cantina Zaccagnini Rosé DOC (Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC, ITALY)
Cultivated in a Cru area on the Bolgnano hills, in the province of Pescara, Abruzzo. The typical Abruzzo Cerasuolo is a wine made from Montepulciano grapes vinified as a white wine, with skins left in contact with the grape juice for a short period of time prior to pressing. The colour of Cerasuolo is a clear, bright cherry red or “ciresce” in the Abruzzese dialect. The taste is fresh and elegant with lovely strawberries, cherries and hints of almond.
2018 Zlatan Otok Rosé (Hvar, CROATIA)
Zlatan Otok, established in 1989 and now one of Croatia’s top producers, the vineyards is situated on the southern slopes of the picturesque Island Hvar. Old school methods of viticulture are still used today and the unique climate makes it unnecessary to use any chemicals on the vines. Zlatan Otok has a clean and fresh aroma, flora and ripe fruits are present with a smooth structure and quite incense finish.
