Podere Rocche dei Manzoni Barolo DOCG Big’d Big 2008
The Barolo Bricco San Pietro “Vigna d’la Roul” of Rocche dei Manzoni is obtained with grapes from Bricco San Pietro in Monforte d’Alba and takes its name from the oak tree in the middle of the vineyard, the “roul”.
The most virile red wine of the winery, it spends a year of aging in bottle after three years of aging in barriques. A bright ruby red with garnet hues, the scent is a well-balanced bouquet of hints of red fruit, vanilla and chocolate. On the palate it is intense, tannic with a long persistent finish.
