Domaine de Brin, AOC Gaillac ‘Pierres Blanches’ 2016
Pale in colour with aromas of white flowers, ripe quince, pear and lime, as well as complex smokey and slightly oxidative notes. The palate is energetic and vibrant with a beautiful texture, notes of ripe green apple and stone fruits. The minerality of ‘Pierres Blanches’ terroir (limestone) shows on the finish as well as a certain saltiness and savouriness calling for more.
